Q1. So, in the end, how’d your WP2 paper go? What were you happy with? What weren’t you? Why? Be specific! (Remember: this is fodder for your end-of-quarter metacognitive reflection)
I think it went well, I answered all of the prompt, and I was happy with way it was organized. What I didn’t like was that I had a little too much information and I didn’t really know what to include and what to take out.
Q2. Which 2 or 3 comments that you received yesterday were the most helpful for you? Why?
The comment about adding in course readings was helpful because I totally forgot about that. I also got a comment about elaborating on some of the “moves” I identified.
I totally agree with you on question 2. I did not include any of the course readings before, so that comment really made me get up and work. Also, I felt I had to much info too and I didn't know what to keep or delete because I went over the page limit.
ReplyDeleteWow, thats great how your paper turned out! Coincidentally, I had the opposite problem of not being able to answer all of the prompt and using too much space. Maybe one day you can teach me your ways. Yes, it is crucial to tie in the course readings so I'm glad somebody pointed that out.
ReplyDeleteMy problem was also having too much information. I think there was so many questions to answer in the prompt that it made it a lot harder to decide which ones were the most important to elaborate on. I am glad you got a comment about the course readings, because I got docked down some points on the last WP because I did not incorporate enough of them (something I worked a lot on with this WP).
ReplyDeleteI'm glad everything went well for you that's great to hear. I also struggled with deciding what to take out because there was too much information. Also I had a comment about including more course readings that reminded me that I needed to go back and take a look at that. Great post Taypres really great post!!!!
ReplyDeleteI can totally relate to the information part. There was so much to say and I just felt like I didn't know how to include all the information effectively. It was such a hard paper and I don't know if I even did it correctly. I didn't add any course readings... it didn't say so on the assignment but I should have listened to my gut. I'm screwed.
